Moving Podcast Covers

We worked with the Danish media company Ekstra Bladet to design cover art for their diverse and ever-expanding portfolio of podcasts. Each podcast cover has to reflect a unique approach to a familiar genre like true crime, current events or sports. We designed a dark, gritty cover for Denmarks most popular true-crime podcast Afhørt. A campy, gossip-girlish cover for Bare mellem os. And then a minimal, soviet propaganda-inspired cover for Det Røde Spøgelse.

Because the range of podcasts is so broad, the techniques used vary from photographic collage to illustration and 3D. The common denominator is that they all feature motion elements. We have made 11 covers to date, most covers were adapted to SOME formats.
